History of the medical imaging centre

1973
The CLM (Charles-LeMoyne) radiology clinic is founded in Greenfield Park by the group of radiologists at the Charles-LeMoyne Hospital. At that time, it was the first and only radiology clinic on the South Shore of Montreal.
1976
The group of radiologists opens a second clinic in downtown Saint-Lambert. This clinic has no less than 6 radiology rooms, including a mammography centre.
1988
The CLM radiology clinic moves to Greenfield Park to new premises near the Charles-LeMoyne Hospital. Since then, it has continued to grow.
1989
Radiologie CLM opens the first private ultrasound centre in Montreal and Montérégie.
1999
The CLM radiology clinic decides to embrace cutting-edge technology and founds RésoScan Inc., with which it becomes associated. It changes its company name to become the RésoScan CLM Medical Imaging Centre.
2000
Résoscan CLM inaugurates the first magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) service in Montérégie and the first clinical CT scan service in this region. RésoScan CLM also becomes one of the first centres to acquire a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) system for the viewing and digital archiving of medical images.
2004
RésoScan CLM acquires the first clinical digital fluoroscopy system in Montérégie.

Given the wide variety of ultrasound examinations offered and the growing demand, RésoScan CLM acquires a second high-end digital ultrasound system (Philips iU22).

FEBRUARY
2005
RésoScan CLM inaugurates one of the first positron emission tomography (PET/CT) services in Canada, combined with a 16-detector computerized tomography (CT) system and one of the first virtual colonoscopy services in Quebec.
JUNE
2008
RésoScan CLM takes a definite turn towards digital technology and acquires a Siemens Aristos system – the latest in direct digital radiography (DR) – and a new digital picture archiving and communication system (PACS).

To meet demand and remain on the cutting edge of technology, RésoScan CLM installs a second high-end MRI system (Siemens Avanto 1.5T).

RésoScan CLM acquires a dedicated coil for magnetic resonance imaging of the breast.

2010
Referring physicians are given remote access to reports and images via our website.
JANUARY
2011
RésoScan CLM acquires the latest high-tech ultrasound system, the Toshiba AplioXG (to replace its Philips 5000 system).
AUGUST
2011
RésoScan CLM acquires a high-end wide-bore 1.5T magnetic resonance system (accommodates claustrophobic or bariatric patients) to replace its 1T magnetic resonance system.
OCTOBER
2011
The dental imaging department acquires a low-dose i-CAT CT scanner for dental implants.
FEBRUARY
2011
RésoScan CLM digitizes mammography by purchasing of a Hologic Selenia Dimensions 2D system.
APRIL
2013
RésoScan CLM acquires an ultrasound system with the latest-technology, the Toshiba Aplio500.
