Upon arrival, our staff welcomes you to check-in for your exam on the third floor.

You will be seated comfortably with a warm blanket. After installation of a venous access by the technologist, he/she will then inject the FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose) which contains fluorine-18. You will rest for a period of 30-60 minutes before the images are taken. Thereafter, images will be taken using the PET-CT system. The procedure lasts about 40 minutes. After checking the images, the technician will give you a CD that you can give to your doctor.
