Upon arrival, our staff welcomes you to check-in for your exam on the ground floor.

You will then be sent to the mammography waiting room on the 2nd floor.

The exam usually takes about 15 minutes, involves 4 radiographs and requires compression for a few seconds on each breast. This helps to spread the gland and get an accurate picture of structures inside the breast. Occasionally, the exam is supplemented by other radiographs, if necessary.
